From the end of May onwards we plan to open the church on Tuesday & Thursdays from 11.00 am – 1.00 pm to enable people to call in for private prayer and reflection, to chat over a cup of tea/coffee or just have a look around our beautiful church! You are warmly invited to our next meeting this Thursday 10 may at 8.00 pm in St Peter’s Parochial Hall, North Street, Lurgan. The topic is ‘The role of the church in Irish Politics 1912 – 1922′ by the well know writer historian Rev Dr Johnston McMaster . Questions to the speaker are welcomed, admission is free and light refreshments will be served.

A fun filled afternoon for all the family will be held on Saturday 26 May from 5.30 pm until 8.00 pm at the Rectory on the Banbridge Road. There will be a BBQ, bouncy castle and face painting. All proceeds will be going to support the Romanian Mission Team. Come along for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. All welcome.

In an effort to improve the smooth running of the Parish Office, the Select Vestry have approved some changes to the way in which Contact is produced. All contributions to Contact will now have to be sent directly to Deborah McCallen by midday on Wednesday for inclusion the following Sunday – Deborah can be contacted in the Parish Office on (tel 3832 5673) or on deborah.mccallen@shankillparish.org. This change will be effective from week commencing Monday 4 June 2012.
